Update by MviluUatusun

As most of you already know, I don't make journals very often, and when I do, I do it to let you know what's going on in my life. Well, it's time for another "What's Going On In My Life" journal. A couple of weeks ago, I had to have another crown put on one of my teeth. Last Saturday morning, I was eating breakfast and, lo and behold, the crown decided it didn't like my tooth any more and filed for divorce. So, this afternoon, I had to return to the dentist to see if he could make the crown reconcile with my tooth. I guess I'll know in a few weeks. Back in 2011, I went to our local orthopaedist about a problem in my left hand. He said I had Dupuytren's Contracture (https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases.....s/syc-20371943) but, it wasn't bad enough to do anything about at that time. Today, I returned and he said, "Yep. It's time to correct it. I can either have injections (which have about a 35% failure rate) or I can opt for surgery (which has about a 1-5% failure rate). You can guess which one I opted for. They've got to figure out when they can do the surgery and let me know. After the surgery, I'll be in a splint to keep my finger straight for 48 hours and 6 - 8 weeks later, I should be able to use my hand normally. A few days after I originally got my new crown, I had an appointment with my dermatologist. After burning a few things off my arms and face, she saw something on my face that worried her. She removed it, sent it off to be biopsied, and it came back as Basal Squamous Cell cancer. I have an appointment on 11 April to have it removed. I ain't no good-looking guy but that scar might scare anybody. LOL.

As you can see, the next couple of months are going to be nothing but fun, fun, fun for yours truly. Y'all take care of yourselves and I'll see y'all later.
