Proper Introduction by ookamij64

Considering how long it's been since I've registered here and was able to get myself verified, time to properly get the introductions out of the way.

I'm OokamiJ64/Julie, I was actually invited to try Weasyl out by a fellow artist from Pillowfort. While I'm familiar with DeviantArt and the state of mess it's currently in, I only was on there for a short while before deactivating the account and that was all she wrote. I guess that was back when I was starting college and fast forward a few years later, now actively working and trying to hop on that rollercoaster ride once more. I'm still unsure how active I'll be here as of now but I'd be darn sure that I would use this over Inkblot any day... Personally I don't think the site is bad per say, but I hardly thought about dropping by there and checking up on activity there. Most of the time, I'll be accessing the site through mobile phone so journal entries are going to be very few. If they do occur, they would be very quick.

I wanted to find a couple of spots to try and get my artwork out there. At this point in time, I'm currently debating on just having art be a secondary source of income for me and having a primary job for a bit of balance. Or for society to not get on me for not having a "real" job. /jk

I'm mostly going to be sharing SFW art. If there comes a time where it's rated higher, it's due to the showing of skin around the upper torso for the male characters... Human characters and Kemonomimi (animal ear) characters will be more common with some anthros here and there. For the first couple of days though, it'll be probably fanart that will be uploaded before getting to the original stuff proper. I deal with some bits of anxiety which might be why it took me ages to get the courage to battle it head on.

As far as who can interact with me or not, I'm not very particular in who isn't allowed here. My only rules are don't be a jerk (being a bit of a phobic bum towards LGBTQ folks falls under this) and just be aware I'm not much into the ship-happy people. I understand a lot of folks are saying that pro-shippers shouldn't interact and I can understand that. For me, I tend to be very conscious of what two are being shipped to being with. Aside from those two, I'm okay with anyone following or adding my art to their favorites.
