Hi! Thanks for watching me!

I'm still working on finding a daily routine that helps em get things done, but I've made a bunch of personal progress in the last month. Very nice changes have come around:

  • I've figured out Things To Do when I start having anxiety attacks
  • I've figured out how to forgive myself arbitrarily when I start feeling arbitrarily negative
  • This means I'm having way fewer awful negative cycle times, and I have been way more productive as a result

So what have I been working on?

  • mixing some music for a friend-band of mine who recently moved to LA
  • taking coding tutorials for Actionscript 3, intended to lead into more original programs
  • writing my own music, beginning with some chillwavey dance tunes
  • avoiding (not for much longer) recording the drum tracks for my band's EP

I also built a bunch of acoustic baffles and put them up on the ceiling and walls. It's almost like I have a studio now!

But I'm starting to run low on my savings (of course) and I'm having to get a bit more practical minded. I'm trying to figure out how to make money without going back to the rat race. Not sure exactly what that will look like yet. Hoping I don't have to find a full-time job due to having multiple revenue streams, that sort of thing.

Maybe I should write more music and put it out there...

    Hi there, kerplunk! Your follower waves back!

    An interesting feature of this website is the sheer number of people with anxiety issues. It's another reason why I feel so at home here. So, yeah, good on you for making some progress!

    And, sure, compose away. I'll check the music you submitted as soon as I find myself in a computer capable of making noises.
