I thought I had already posted this but, I see that I didn't. So, I'll make necessary changes to make this journal relevant and post it today.

Saturday was my 68th birthday. Shortly after I got home from work and grocery shopping, my mother fell, hit her head, and had to be taken to the ER. I went down there for a while until she told me to go home and she'd have the hospital call me to come and get her. I got the call around 12:30, picked her up, and brought her home. However, she said she couldn't move her feet to walk. As I tried to help her get up and walk, she started leaning further and further forward. When I checked for a pulse, there was none. I finally eased her out of my car, placed her on the ground, and called the EMTs again. They called the coroner because she was unresponsive. My mother passed away at around 1:30 am Sunday morning.
