Blowing dust off by Iridium
Yep, I'm still alive. Twitter's getting worse and it probably won't be long before I have to close up my site there. In anticipation, I've made an Itaku: https://itaku.ee/profile/ir77wolf. I poked at Mastodon but have no idea what server to join. The .cloud server some folks are on doesn't show up as an option. Any recommendations?

Other than Weasly and FA, no social media for me. Good luck on the Exodus.
Mastodon has that appeal of independently run servers called Instances. But that has legal and operational pitfalls. Whether you find an Instance that you know who's running the show or like; the operator and would be user should take a gander at this article by someone who's been there via Dreamwidth and endured pitfalls. Worth a read.

Apparently the instance I just moved to is run by some sketchy folks so I'll probably be moving to chitter.xyz or something. Avoid pawb fun or furry engineer.
