I'm not going to delete my entire gallery, just the stuff I'm no longer comfortable being associated with me. The whitelist:

"Why are you doing this?"
To make a long story short, I am cutting back on my exposure to, intake of, and creation of pornography. I was exposed to porn at a young age thanks to unfettered internet access in the early 00s, and it has deeply affected me in unhealthy ways. It was only about five years ago that I started genuinely trying to cut back, but my life improved immensely and quickly. The pandemic forced us all online and that made me backslide on my progress, which is why I even started publishing my stories on Weasyl and DA.

"But I really like your NSFW stuff."
I know that many people do, and I appreciate that. However, creating this kind of vulgarity has not been healthy for my soul.

"This is unfair to me."
Yes it is, and you don't deserve fairness. By all rights, I should have just nuked my gallery and been done with it, but some part of me knows that having the rug pulled out from under oneself is jarring and makes one annoyed.

"What are you going to do next?"
Write stories that aren't about porn.
