I'll be hitting the streets tomorrow for the Philly Pride march with my partners and friends, and all of us are some flavor of furry/kinkster, and it feels good to acknowledge that I've reached a point in my life where I'm surrounded by people who get me. We have the same interests, yes, but also the same values - collectivism, mutual aid, queer justice, expansive love. I don't have to explain myself to these people. They understand me. We see each other for who we are, and it's beautiful and comforting.
