Hello Everyone!

It seems like my last journal was a tie so I guess I’ll have to be the tie breaker.

Normally, I like sticking to anime and video game music.

So I am branching out a teensy bit further this time and discovered 80s J-Pop. There’s tons of good artists I like, but lately I’ve been listening to Meiko Nakahara. In my opinion, I feel there’s a certain whimsy to the way she composes music. And yes, Meiko did compose many of her songs which I personally find impressive. Here are some of my personal favorites:

Another artist I really like is Mai Yamane. She is the singer for Cowboy Bebop’s ending theme. There’s a certain maturity in her voice that I find very appealing. I will also link a few of her songs below:
