Well I can't make it to EF as much as I would have wanted to have seen everyone again and all the people I only ever get to see at convnetions. Work screwed up with my holiday and by the time it had all been sorted out it was too late to arrange and I had sold my registration.

EF was the one event that I attend where I am actually not working. At Scotiacon, Confuzzled, Nordicfuzzcon and Frantic Eufuria I'm always working. When you're one of the people that makes the fun happen, you are up before most, to bed later and always at the event longer with less time to relax.

Although it does give me a chance to get away as I now have a lot of holiday spare that I was not expecting to have. So I am planning to take a few trips to see people instead, possibly bringing a suit as well with me. Am currently pondering a visit to Sweden and one Denmark.
