Doctor Who's depression certificate broke down after 48km. by DeRiften

I think my post-trilogy depression (AKA chronic boredom) has passed; I've found a few things to do. Today I was planning to go to the social welfare headquarters to get a new copy of my birth certificate since the one I was is falling apart and I'll need it to register for my class in February. Plus I need to setup a meeting with my agent to discuss whether they'll pay me to attend the course or not (gotta make sure since it used to be a cooperation with social welfare and thus 100% paid, but it went public so now who knows). I phoned my lift but she pulled something and is paralyzed from her hip so she can't drive and has an appointment with the doctor this week. Luckily I have plenty of time to get everything in order before the registration but I still hope she'll heal up nice and easy. So instead I went to do the grocery and found this Italian sausage imported pizza so I figured I'd give it a try but ends up it was pretty terrible. It had mushrooms and onions and tasted like dirt. But at least to make the experience better, I remembered Doctor Who was a thing and that I still have like 40 years to catch up with so I watched a few episodes and before I knew it, I was laying on my bed playing Pokemon HeartGold, because you guys should know me better than to think what I do is relevant and makes sense :P

But on a downside I found out there's a new update for the 3DS so I updated my flashcart before updating the system. Thing is, I put the wrong version of the firmware in there so what I have to do is reupdate it from my thick old DS. DS which, by the way, only works on life support nowadays since it's so old and used. I rummaged through my bag o' stuff to find my old NDS/GBA SP adapter and plugged it in but it seems to have died at long last. RIP cable, you lasted over a decade and hundreds of hours of recharging.

So I had to order a new cable, AKA another 2$ and 3-4 weeks down the drain. Luckily though, Pokemon HeartGold isn't on the flashcart since I actually bought the game so I could use WiFi and the Pokewalker (which by the way had a whopping 48km and 2,3k watts since AC. Holy shit!).
