Alright everyone, time for that official update.

This is probably going to be a slightly lengthy journal seeing as I've got some important information to share, I will keep it to the point though.

I still cannot go into detail as to what all has forced me to re-adjust my plans, but I will in time, I'm not sure when that time will be, but you can hold me to that. I will explain what's been going on when I can.

Official Opening for Commissions: New Date[/u]

Some of you may hate this, but I've got to push my official opening date for commission back...by a decent amount.

Before I reveal the official date I've set as my goal opening date, just be aware that on top of real life stuff going on, I've still got quite a bit of art WIPs on my plate, not to mention requests, trades & kiriban art I want to get out of the way before I open. PLUS, I've still got to finish putting together business related things like my official "Coming Soon", "Open" & "Closed" Commission submissions, I've still got to set my prices, which will mean creating a couple pieces of art that I haven't done yet so I can properly price them, as well as putting together an ad for FurAffinity for when I am officially open.

There's lots to do and I'm afraid it won't be a month or two for me to get that all done, not with a lot of my energy having to be focused elsewhere right now.

So my official open date is projected for: January 1, 2014.

It'll be a new year, this gives me roughly 3.5 months to get everything squared away and ready, not to mention it'll get me through the holidays and birthdays and such here at the end of the year.

I apologize if that's now what a lot of folks were wanting to hear, but I'm trying to be as responsible about this as I possibly can. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, when I open, I want to be SURE I can get my commissioners proper turn-around and good quality art in the process. So, know that I appreciate your patience immensely and I hope to have some of you as my first commissioners when I open in 2014!

Also please be aware, that while that is my goal, depending on how things work out the rest of this year I may alter that date. I may be able to open sooner, however, I may have to delay it further. Just a disclaimer there for ya'll. Gonna be bustin my ass the next few months for sure.

Good news is ya'll will definitely have art to partake in, in between now and January 1st.

The Plan: Goals[/u]

So, with having to re-adjust my plans and my official "open" date, comes re-adjusting of priorities and goals.

Here's the plan for the next 3.5 months:

■ Finish ALL current trades, requests, & kiribans

■ Finish ALL current art

■ Finish remaining Birthday/Gift/Holiday art for the remainder of 2013 (example: Family Birthday/Holiday gifts & Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years art)

■ Finish ALL new Characters & introduce them properly

■ Get into a good work flow schedule for art (goal: 8hrs on Saturdays at the very least, may include some Sunday's & weekday evenings if able)

■ Price commissions (to include: Badges, Normal commissions, Pony Commissions, Bookmarks & Reference Sheets)

■ Finish ALL Commission Status Submissions

■ Open for Commissions January 1, 2014

There ya have it. Those are my remaining goals for 2013. My official start to knocking them out will begin next Saturday if not before.

Additional Information: First up: Trades, Requests & Kiribans![/u]

Yes, those are first up on my list, so starting next Saturday (08/17/2013; August 17, 2013) I will be devoting at least 8 hours of work every Saturday to getting ALL of my current Trades, Requests & Kiribans completed.

It'll probably take me a bit to get them all squared away, but I hope to put in some good time and have them all finished or on their way to completion soon!

I'm so sorry that I've had to push dates back again. Just trust me when I say that I've been going through some stressful stuff (it is work related but that's all I'm gonna say for now) and it's completely ruined my artistic inspiration, not to mention my mood.

However, I've got to grab life by the horns and keep on truckin! So that's what I'm gonna do, this journal is a way to help motivate myself in that direction as well as keep ya'll informed as to what's goin on in my neck of the woods.
