Unless you have been living under a rock, there is this webcomic called "VG Cats" by a person named Scott who started it eons ago, making it a parody about two cats supposedly married who just love playing videogames. The comic itself has its hits and misses as with many webcomics old and new, and just like such it would update whenever the author would care to do so.

Apparently Scoot probably thought this was leading him nowhere so he decided to jump the Rule 34 wagon and create "VG Lewds," which pits said characters of his into sexualized situations mixing it with his crass, often tasteless humor and you know what...I am not feeling it. Besides the awkward feeling of seeing him do this out of the blue when his main point was over the top semi-funny parody with likewise awkward artstyle is clashing horribly with this new project of his. Sure, there has been adult material drawn of his characters since forever, I am not saying I would not enjoy the actual artist's take on such things but then again everything about this comes crashing down like a plane engulfed in flames.

Of course many clap to this praising him for it, I might be one in the oversized minority that can't even feel comfortable seeing his mature works, but this is to be expected on the internet at any case.

However it doesn't seem to work. If he is doing this for money (and I bet that is the primary idea,) well I guess good for him? VG Cats wasn't really an all ages kinda thing to begin with but his style seriously lacked then and its lacking even more with what he's doing now.

Its my own personal view but I never liked seeing fanart of Leo and Aeris fucking. Seeing it from the original creator is even less appealing. You could scream at me saying they're a couple and that's fine, but I never liked seeing them like that, I always saw VG Cats as a parody of videogames with some horribly absurd punchlines and its characters had a certain personality that never screamed sex in any sort of way whatsoever.

To each their own I suppose. I am not here to scream at Scott about his dubious direction with the entire thing but I also am not supporting it either. I had stopped reading the original comic since he updates once every other blue moon to begin with, and well, the humor on such had also had a huge decline on my own tastes as well. Seeing him make porn of the entire thing is just another banana peel on which his work keeps sliding into a wall.

This is just my opinion about it. I don't expect any reading this to agree and probably will be yelled at but it just feels wrong to me. I feel like this doesn't fit with what he's done before it. That's all.
