Decided to get it and it's already turning out fairly different from the last one. I think with how my brain is wired the additional step of hand-eye coordination involved in using a non-visual tablet made it pretty hard to get used to. I already am figuring pressure out much faster than I figured out even the barest bit of how to use my last tablet.
