show wasn't bad, saw all the seasons a couple of years back, though while it's kinda silly to think about this, I don't understand the lack of tails on the anthro animal characters that should have tails

  My guess is that by leaving out the tails, this allows the audience to relate to the animal characters a lot more and see a more human side in them (plus it might have involved extra work for the animators to include tails on them).
