I've been thinking about posting this journal for a while. For those that know, I'm writing a story that takes place 20,000 years in the future in which an anthro species called Humanimals are the dominant species on Earth. When they became the dominant species, they changed the names of the cities, states, provinces, countries, rivers, mountains, etc. However, the Humanimals kept some semblance of the original name. What I'm wanting is assistance with these new names. Here are the requirements. The new names must include animal, plant, meteorologic, geologic, etc. names. For example, some of the new names that I've come up with are as follows Catlanna (Atlanta), Gargia (Georgia), Flamingo (Florida), Gnawlean (New Orleans), and Gnashville (Nashville). While I do have some new names that are set in stone, I'll entertain any better ideas. I'm planning on commissioning a few new maps that will show these new names. Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to give me. BTW, the only prizes I can offer is the possibility of using one of your characters in my story, if you want me to.
