Has anyone read a fanfic where they pair two unlike characters that you think this will never work but read and now up shipping them even though it wouldn’t work. For it currently Jack x and this will shock people Mizuchi…yes the bully…I blame Glitchgoat04 fanfic Waltzing on the Line of Extinction for making me like it.

Yeah.
Now that I think about it most of the I like is due to fanfic involving those pairing. Twixie was due to some fanfic and a Ask X Tumblr blog, same with Gildamac(this was before I became a Gildashy shipper) Carajack( Carajack->->Bluejack->Flimjack->Lunajack), Dislestia, Babs x Button Mash I became fond due to your work, Mothra x Godzilla, Bill x Els plus their friendship, and now Jack x Mizuchi

Sometimes I get into ships because of the dumbest smallest things tbh, I’ve been into Avi/Johann lately and it was from the most minor dumb thing, and I got into Thacker/Barclay from basically nothing
I don’t, it was years ago, but I do remember that it was a vampire DJ PON3 fic, a multi chapter vampony fic, so I’m sure you can find it from that-
For me it's character development, plus gives a minor character some depths

It depends, sometimes I get into something that is layered and canon and has lots of depth, example: Blupjeans, Davencretia, or I can get into something with barely any interactions between them and based off of one very dumb thing, example: Thacker/Barclay, Johavi (am I using taz ships because it’s what I have on my mind right now and I haven’t slept well in weeks, so I don’t even know how to think of anything else? maybe) it all just depends on the mood, etc.
Maybe? I don’t remember, all I remember is the vampire bit and it made me tolerate/maybe even like the ship a bit -
I realize all of a sudden I said “canon” and also “Davencretia”, I meant canon as in the relationship is positive and they have a lot of interactions in canon, not necessarily are they a canon couple, I used them as an example along with Blupjeans because they’ve all spent over a hundred years being together, I just haven’t had a good sleep in awhile and I worded that weird, I suddenly realized that I did that when I was mostly asleep and had to come over and specify

Depends what qualifies as unlike characters who would never work, because I really hated Octavia and DJ PON-3 together, and I read a fic that made me find them okay
