Okay, so I was at Kroger buying toothpaste (because I was almost out- surprisingly Kroger still has a decent amount of toothpaste), and while I was standing in line to pay for it, there was this middle-aged couple buying their groceries, and they noticed that I only had one thing.

And they were like, "You only have one thing. You should be in front of us."

And I was like, "No, thank you. I'm okay standing in line."

And the lady was like, "Are you sure?"

And so I told them I was fine. So they kept getting their stuff checked out, and right as they were about to pay the cashier, both the man and the lady said, "Hey, we'll pay for you toothpaste."

And I was like, "Are you sure?"

And they were like, "Yeah, we'll pay for it."

And I was just shocked (and to be honest, I'm still shocked as I'm typing this). I didn't really know what to do, so I just let them pay for the toothpaste (after all, it was just two dollars). Then, when the cashier handed me my toothpaste in a plastic bag, I shouted out to the couple and the cashier, "Have a nice day!"

And they were like, "You too! Stay safe!"

And then I told them to stay safe, too.

Just when people think that there are a bunch of selfish people out there, it's really nice to see that there are some really nice people out there. I hope that couple is having a nice day and staying safe. Thank you two so much for that!!
