It's been two weeks since Tabby was diagnosed with cancer (I need to write these journals more frequently). Since then I've been feeding her high calorie canned food through a syringe.
The process takes a few hours each day. And it's really really messy. I've also been giving her anti inflammatory medication from the vet.
The vet said it might slow the growth of the cancer and reduce swelling in her mouth. It might buy her some more time.
In the meantime I'm making sure to take her outside on nice days. And I'm trying to keep her fur nice and brushed, even if she has a lot of spit and food dripping down her face after each feeding session.
