Well, I just recently got back from surgery on my foot. I don't feel any pain, currently, but I do have a prescription for a pain killer and I may take it just to insure that I don't feel any pain during the next week. I'm wearing a boot that is throwing my balance off because it's designed to prevent me from putting any pressure on the area of the foot on which I had my surgery. Because of the boot, I'm not going to be able to wear jeans until I am free of the boot. The doctor told me that he couldn't pull the skin back together completely so I'm going to have a hole in the bottom of my foot until it heals completely which could take a while. Oh, well. Better that than having a very painful walk. Maybe over the next 2.5 weeks, I can get some writing done. (I surely hope so.)

BTW, the surgery was to remove something called a dermatofibroma. It's kind of like a large soft wart and is benign so I don't have to worry about that.
