After working rather hard this past weekend, I felt I deserved a good break and was fortunate to not be working Christmas Eve nor on Christmas Day.
I spent much of Christmas Eve relaxing and watching a number of Christmas specials and TV episodes I grew up with as a child and still cherish to this day.
For Christmas Day, I first opened presents with my mother, and I got her the following gifts:
-"Star Wars, Episode 7: The Force Awakens" on Blu-Ray
-"Star Wars, Episode 8: The Last Jedi" on Blu-Ray
-A Baby Groot ornament
Here are the presents I got from her:
-Robot Chicken, Season 8 on DVD
-Robot Chicken, Season 9 on DVD
-Bojack Horseman, Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD
-"The Incredible 2-Headed Transplant" on DVD (with optional Rifftrax commentary)
-"An American WereDeer in Michigan" by C.T. Phipps and Michael Suttkus
-"I Was a Teenage WereDeer" by C.T. Phipps and Michael Suttkus
-A bag of Skittles and a bag of 3 Musketeers Minis
-A regal deer ornament
We both ended up watching Star Wars Episodes 7 and 8 in preparation for seeing Episode 9 in theaters, and we also watched "Christmas with Rifftrax: Santa's Village of Madness" on DVD. We also had ham, potatoes and fried shrimp as a special Christmas meal.
Hope everyone else is having a nice time enjoying the precious moments of the holiday season, however you may celebrate it. :)
