2) We Need Programming (Run A Panel, Class, or Social Group)!

Without you cons don't have programming, and furs just sit quietly in a corner and stare at their shoes. Shoes are fun and all, but programming is a LOT better, so please lend a hand!

We need YOU to run panels, classes, and social groups at this year's FurFright!

Panels/classes/discussion groups can be about any furry or Halloween-related topic, or just something that's of general interest to our community. Everything is welcomed! There are no bad ideas (except the bad ones)! ;o)

3) The FurFright Team Trivia Challenge!

After our dealer/sponsor dinner social, we open the ballroom up to all attendees for dessert sprinkled with the nail-biting thrill of THE FURFRIGHT TEAM TRIVIA CHALLENGE!

Come on down and see science, history, general trivia, and education reduced to a steaming mass of shame!

Just grab some free dessert, sit at a table where the people look smart, and you're part of a team that can win you prizes, fame, glory, and a degree in "Furry Smug"!

4) Have Your Art & Writing Showcased!

Have your work printed/published in/on conbooks, t-shirts, badges, con-exclusive merchandise, etc and seen by the horde at this year’s FurFright!

We’re looking for Halloween and War Dogs-themed artwork and writing to be featured in all areas of the convention. We’re going to be selecting many different pieces, so feel free to submit as many designs as you like.

It's a great way to have your work seen by the masses! And if we select your design, you’ll get a shout in the conbook and a nifty gifty!

5) Get Your Halloween Costumes Ready!

It's a Halloween con, people, so bring an awesome costume make the halls of FurFright even creepier than they already are!

We're also having a big COSTUME COMPETITION! The most imaginative, entertaining costume wins!

To take part come to the Ballroom Saturday morning between 10am and Noon and sign-up (you do not have to be in costume to register). We'll be accepting a maximum of 20 contestants, and the sign-up process is first-come-first-serve, so the earlier you get there the better!

Costumes must be suitable for all ages. For the purpose of the competition, fursuits DO NOT constitute a costume! Though you may apply a theme and wear a costume OVER a fursuit. Costumes must show a basic degree of effort. Cheap-ass costumes are not allowed. Your costume can't be a tail or fursuit or an eyepatch you made out of a pizza box and a shoelace. For God's sake, people . . . TRY! ;o)

Put an act together and be part of the show! No experience, fursuit, or talent needed! Win prizes that’ll make your friends jealous! Flaunt your popularity with cheap plastic!

FurFright has a Masquerade/Talent Show thing that’s an embarrassment to the fandom, and we want YOU to be a part of it! So put together an act and hit the stage with us! It doesn't matter what your experience level is or if you have a fursuit or not, the whole point of our Masquerade is to have fun!

Acts will be judged by our esteemed panel of honorable judges (i.e. hobos) and prizes will be awarded!
