I have been super busy the last month.

Hatching babies is a lot of work. Er, incubating is a lot of work. You wouldn't think it is, just setting eggs in a warm box, but...

Then there's the whole raising them to adulthood and beyond thing. That takes a bit, too.

I have transformed my art room into a makeshift hatchery. I look at all of my art stuff, sitting in the shadows, and I miss it. I can't wait until I get some time to do art. I want to sculpt and work on my comic so bad. But these babies are so worth it! The whole incubation thing is fun. Challenging. Heartbreaking. Rewarding. Sometimes a little gross. I like being involved with nature and natural selection like this. It's intense. Huge learning experience.

I am on my last batch of babies this week, so maybe next week I'll get the incubating stuff put away and get my art stuff out.
