Anthrocon Journal, Day 3 by DeRiften

G' evening people! Today was much more awesome than I thought it would be. There was infinite food at the supersponsor luncheon (including cheesecake and lemonade) and after that, I went to sit at the bridge till the parade which went on for like 20 mins or something. After that I stayed a while to give people time to move out of the way so I could actually move and right as I was about to get up to go to the bathroom, I finally found Zoey\_Anelyn and her boyfriend! We chatted for a while, all went to the bathroom together (lol), had overall fun times and then she dragged me to Matthew Ebel's concert, some guy I had never heard about and wouldn't have heard about if I hadn't went there. I was expecting little but the guy is actually pretty good! Plus when he threw three shirts, I caught one of 'em so it was really worth going! Sadly, after that we were hungry and she went somewhere with a friend so I went my way and ended up at the Greek restaurant on the other side of the street from the Westin. I ordered a gyro and they ran outta "lamb" so I ended up waiting for my order over half an hour in the heat while they cooked a fresh frozen "lamb". When I finally got my order, I quickly went back to the spot 'cause since it was Uncle Kage's Story Hour, I knew the line would be a mile long 45 mins before the event even started. I predicted right since when I got there, the line for sponsors and regular attendees were already long while the supersponsor line was, as usual, awesomely short (sorry Zoey). I ate my gyro while waiting in line and since then I've been burping bologna so yeah... I doubt it was really lamb. After that I was thirsty but didn't want to lose my spot in the line so I figured I'd drink inbetween panels. Kage's Story Hour was freakin' awesome as usual and as I got up when he finished, he said that we could stay seated till the Masquerade (the next and final panel) so I went ffff and yay at the same time and then boom, here comes one of my roommates sitting in the row in front of me, say hi and offer me chewing gum AND a drawing he made. Inu, stay adorable and awesome you curly-haired, shy-looking man! The masquerade had a few bright spots but overall pretty weak, just like last year. But at the end while they were hopelessly trying to get people to leave, Sardyuon took the scene by storm and busted a move and man, the fox can dance freakin' well AND freakin' long, considering he's in suit! I mean holy shit he could actually compete in the fursuit dance competition tomorrow (maybe I just predicted the future right there and accidentally spoiled an awesomely surprising plot twist, sorry)

Oh well, on a side note there's something I found out yesterday but forgot to write. I found out that in Pittsburgh, almost no pedestrian respects road lights. They just cross the street not giving a shit if there are cars crossing as well. Heck, they'll stop only if a car honks at them repeatedly and even then it's with an annoyed look in their eyes.

Hmm... I'm expecting tomorrow to be the best day of them all, bring it on!
