G' evening people! I'm writing this before going to sleep so I don't forget details were I to write it tomorrow morning instead. I had a pretty awesome day. After the opening ceremonies this morning, I went to the dealer's den, looked around, bought a book I've been wanting for a while but didn't want to pay the book's worth in shipping fees, went to pick up my free shirt that I'll never wear, ate at the overpriced concession stand because I was starving and didn't want to walk all the way to a restaurant. Plus I was still looking for Zoey\_Anelyn around that area, though I never found her :c. Sat by the benches to collect more streetpass tags (I got over 110 today!), hoping to see her pass by but by 1:40pm I figured I'd drop off my book and shirt by the hotel so I wouldn't have to drag 'em along all day, and that's where I saw that she left me a message describing how she looked. I went back around 2:20pm after cooling off a bit (the heat here is pretty high) and looked around some more for her but never found her, so back to the bench I got till 4:00pm, where the first panel of interest was. From there, it was panel after panel after panel after panel, all at the same room, with less than half an hour between each of 'em so before I knew it it was 9:00pm. And man was it freakin' awesome. Sardyuon improved a shitload since last year and I even got an autograph from him! And 2 is as hilarious as always. After that I went to the fancy reception thing to see what it was all about and it was surprisingly fun. There was free food and drinks! Veggies, fruits, dips, fancy cheeses, Dr Pepper. And I saw all kinds of awesome art and spoke to some cool people! But you can only eat so long before getting bored so I went to the Whose Furry Lion Is It Anyway? panel which runs from 10:00pm to 1:00am. Last year it was freakin' hilarious and actually spanned two nights but this year it's a new host and a) his voice is annoying as fuck, b) he doesn't know what the fuck he's doing, c) he assumes people can read his mind so he doesn't explain anything, d) he goes on brakes all the time and leave random people to host in his place. Yeah, I left early, which is good since the supersponsor lunch is at 11:30am tomorrow so I actually have to sleep. So yeah, pretty good day... 1 day over, 2 to go!
