Anthrocon Journal, Day -2 by DeRiften

Hello people! I'm typing this from the bus to Montreal on my way to AC and I'm surprised the Internet works since the last three buses I took had no working Internet even though they advertised otherwise. I've just started my journey and I've already seen a few funny things. As I was waiting for my bus at the station, there was this homeless-looking guy and during the whole 45 minutes I waited, every 5 seconds he'd take a picture with his smartphone (homeless-looking with a smartphone, huh?) of some "art" he made. The art consisted of a newspapers artsily ripped and reassembled, a water bottle, a transparent plastic bag and a piece of paper with some kind of brownish stain (I'm pretty sure it wasn't shit since even though the guy looked homeless and dirty, he smelled delicious. Like freshly baked bread or something). Every once in a while, he'd mumble to himself, reassemble the whole thing so it looked different and then he'd resume taking pictures of it under every single angle possible every 5 seconds. Guy sure was dedicated to his "art" and I wonder just how much space there is on that smartphone of his.

And now that I'm in the bus, there's this old lady sitting in front of me on my left and I swear she has a necklace made of human teeth. Plus she's coughing her lungs out and is wearing three pairs of sunglasses. A promising journey indeed!

I'm supposed to arrive at Montreal around 2:15pm and my bus for Pittsburgh (with a transfer at New-York) is supposed to leave at 5:15pm so I'll have a few hours to keep you updated about my intriguing antics!

UPDATE

I made it to Montreal, people! I'm typing this from a non-comfy chair in the bus station's only "restaurant". I remember that years ago, there was an ATM and a currency desk right at the station but now there isn't so I had to go two streets farther and into the latino section of the city to find a bank. I don't wanna sound racist but man, why is it that most latinos around here smell like sewers? I know people from Poland smell a bit odd because they eat lots of meat and garlic so it a food thing with latinos too? Oh well, now I'm sitting here with a coffee and I had to pay 9$ for a freakin' bacon sandwich because this place only serves sandwiches. I can already say I'm gonna be hungry tonight.

There was this asian kid sitting at the other end of the restaurant staring at me intensely without blinking and when I blinked, there was now two asian kids staring at me. This is some creepy shit.
