Amalthea and Bernadette (my rosehair tarantula and redhead centipede) are VENOMOUS creatures!

If something is poisonous then it is harmful to touch, breathe, or consume. Poisons are transferred passively, often without any active participation from the animal, plant, or object. Venom is injected. The animal intentionally injects venom.

Some frogs are poisonous.

Many species of snake are venomous.

When people say "the black widow spider is poisonous!" I just want to laugh at their ignorance and mock them.

One, black widows are not as dangerous as people claim, I've been bitten by them and its really nothing.

But seriously, poisonous spiders don't exist.
