Oakland have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will take on Indianapolis at home at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday. The odds don't look promising for Oakland, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.

Oakland found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 3-27 punch to the gut against Seattle two weeks ago. Oakland were down by 0-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

As for Indianapolis, they had a rough outing against the Jets, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Indianapolis made easy work of Buffalo last Sunday and carried off a 37-5 victory. With Indianapolis ahead 24-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Indianapolis's win lifted them to 2-5-1 while Oakland's defeat dropped them down to 1-5-1. Indianapolis caused 5 turnovers against Buffalo, so Oakland will need to take especially good care of the ball.
