You know, for as amazingly well laid out as Weasyl is, for all the features it has, for how easy it is to shuffle around stuff on here.... I frequently forget that the place exists. Not out of any sort of malice or malcontent with the platform but because so much more is still heavily situated on FA still.

FA itself has a ton of problems, between the scalpers at IMVU who now own FA to the frequent security lists. The problem, which sucks for sites as well put together as weasyl, is just pure and simple market size. Without FA absolutely imploding it'll stay stuck in FA's shadow for artwork and, on the opposite site, SF's shadow for authors.
