Read some misguided journal stating how e621 is good for artists and quite frankly it isn't. Not when you get heckled, bullied, and harassed upon for posting anything they would later deem "unworthy."

That site is just an image site as many found online. If you are pretty good skilled and depending on your status as an artist on this fandom of ours you would get praise based on that fact alone. You will not give me this crap that site gives you "recognition" otherwise.

That site also has a nasty habit of vandalizing and editing one's work without permission, I've been victim of such and their staff pretty much acted indifferently, telling me that my own art posted and edited was "6 months old" and that was enough excuse for artheft.

Staff themselves are a bunch of assholes atop this, and I am sure I am not the only one who has seen this on that site. I was pretty much chased out of there when I tried fighting unruly members badmouthing my art I personally uploaded and constantly reporting it for deletion. I never even knew any of the aggressors but seemingly they wanted me gone and staff was OK on this.

So yeah no. e621 is not good for artists except for those they truly like and kiss ass to. Even then I am not sure how that would be good for any artist in the least.
