This is just a reminder to everyone that this weekend is both the Indy 500 AND the CocaCola 600! And that's a whole lotta racin'!

If anyone is interested, you can do the double-duty race at Indianapolis the weekend of our Season 2 opener at Charlotte Motor Speedway. If you would like to drive in both races, let me know here and then head over to the furryindycarseries on "the other site" for more information on how to submit a team for the Indy 500. (NOTE: Your finish or participation in the Indy 500 will not have any effect upon your FURCAR race or scores.)

Are you a FURCAR rookie who's looking to make their name known out on the track? Or are you a veteran who took a season or two off? Season Two starts this weekend and we would love to have you join us on the track!

Don't have time to pick drivers every week? You can select a "permanent" team for the first and second half of the season (i.e. when the pools change). This way, you can have a team of drivers ready to go for you every weekend and you can send an email when/if you want to make changes. Easy peasy! (NOTE: permanent teams are ONLY good for a half-season, then the "owner" must make any changes and resubmit their team for the second half of the season.) Having a permanent team in the garage is also great insurance for those weekends that get so busy you forget to submit fresh picks! This way you don't miss a race!

Also, here is a preview of the pools for the start of Season Two! (As per usual, Pool 3's drivers will be shuffled according to who actually qualifies for the race However, only ONE driver out of this list will NOT make it into the race. Bayne and Bliss, thusfar, are the two mentioned as being most at risk of not making the race, especially if qualifying is rained out.) I will be reposting the final pools after qualifying is completed.
