Good bloody god, it's been a long time since an event has left me more exhausted than a furry con. Due to the host's illness, ended up pretty much managing an equestrian event (small, thankfully) solo this weekend while they slept off whatever bug I REALLY hope they haven't passed on to me.

• My feet ache. Everything aches. Just everything.

• Running around like a headless chicken
• Extra work due to staff member illness at end
• An angry pigeon hatchling fell on my head

I wish I was joking on that last one but such is my life. I did shriek for that one but wouldn't you?

All in all, it was a fantastic event and I'm so glad I got to take the time off for this one. I'm shocked by how crude the talk got at dinner (yes, horse people rival furries: I'm shocked too) but HEY HO everyone was lovely and the stories of, uh, nudist beaches and European saunas were...interesting.

However, I am now officially back to work tomorrow and cracking on with writing! I am open for commissions to schedule w/c 17th June so hit me up if you'd like to book in! There are discounted Iron Author slots available too and plenty going around at the moment! I have a week off at the end of the month so now is most certainly the time to book in if you would like work done! I may take rush work during that week off but it will be a very steep rate as I have not had any down time since September last year. I'm not against helping anyone out in a rush or sticky situation but it must justify the time cost here, so you are aware.
