I'm sure most of you have heard something by now about the tornado that hit Moore, Oklahoma earlier today (around 3pm CST).

For those that aren't aware yet this is a fairly recent (as of the time of this journal) article from weather.com: http://www.weather.com/news/tornado-central/tornado-oklahoma-city-suburb-20130520

Sadly they're saying 51 confirmed dead at this time, 24 of those are children at an Elementary school that was destroyed.

I remember watching the news in a similar fashion a little over 14 years ago on May 3, 1999 when another massive tornado (an EF5 this one I believe they're saying was an EF4) ripped through the same area. The video and images produced by that tornado was really terrifying and I believe around 36 people lost their lives that day. So this is a very similar situation in the same area.

There is likely more to come seeing as they're predicting more storms for tomorrow and I believe Wednesday in the same areas that were hit yesterday and today.

If you're in an area that they're predicting will be experiencing severe weather please keep an eye on your local weather or I always keep track of things via weather.com/The Weather Channel myself. They're about as accurate as you can get when it comes to predicting the weather and they're always quick about getting out warnings.

I hope any of you that are in Moore, Oklahoma City, other towns across Oklahoma or anywhere this evening that's had severe weather roll through your neck of the woods, are safe and that your family and friends are safe.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people in Moore, and in Oklahoma tonight. I wish those who have lost homes, pets, and even family and friends strength.
