This is partially to get that long journal off my front page, but also because I wanted to mention a couple other things that I felt would have only gotten lost in the journal from this weekend.

First: *Art Status Update*

I'll include it in this journal below, but it can also ALWAYS be found on my front page, and I do try to keep it as updated as possible. Which tends to mean it's updated weekly.

This is basically the status of all of my art, be it personal or for others, so if you're interested to see what's going on as far as my art you can always check there to see what's going on on my end.

I've just updated it with what I HOPE will be the last additions until I'm ready to open for commissions. The only other additions I foresee are a Father's Day piece and one for the Fourth of July/US Independence Day.

Most of what isn't marked with a red bullet (i.e., "Haven't Started") will be finished or nearly finished by the time I plan to open for Commissions. The only other two that will probably join my current WIP's will be NightFell's Con Badge and Infl8ableWolf's Kiriban Prize.

Second: *Character Birthdays*

Yes, I actually do have some of my OC's Birthdays coming up, namely Tala and Nash!

Tala and Nash (formerly: Chevy) were both created on June 21st, 2006. They first made appearances on TLKFAA (The Lion King FanArt Archive) as wolves, but did brief stints as lions there. Then I moved to dA and were first uploaded here on July 9th, 2006 when I joined deviantART.

So both Tala and Nashoba will be 7 years old here next month.

I plan to put together a list of my character creation dates here soon. There are a few more characters that will make their debut soon so I may wait until I've got everyone on paper and have a date for them before I make an official list.

I do plan on doing something to celebrate the creation of both Tala and Nash so be prepared for that as well.
