Not so dead, however.
I haven't checked this place out in a bit, thought I would see how well this site has been holding up.
Probably will toss up new stuff soon enough. I've been not so much in an art slump, just was eaten up with a rather large commission that ate most of my power to want to do much of anything else.
I am still here in Canadia visiting my ever so lovely Zoetrooper; got about a month and some days before I must journey back to the AMURICA and hunt for job things. I have realized I really just want a regular 'ole job. Supermarket something or whatever. I don't ask for much really, I suppose that is very Un-American of me since apparently everyone wants to have a top job etc. But nothing really garners my attention and working something i'm not happy with is worse then what it could net. Also fighting for said jobs that everyone else is trying to get isn't much of a consolation either.
At least I can do commissions on the side. As ridunkulous and crazy as they can get.
Will try to get more art down. I basically forgot the powers I can weave and never see it until something is completed. A terrible thing indeed. Just glad i'm borrowing my Lady's tablet stylus she garnered - mine magically up and POOFED and not sure where it went. This also led credence into why I haven't drawn anything in a bit, lol.

Awww, tis ok! And well, until I get more up i'll be dead for a bit still, lol. I forgot how this site likes to lump everything with the "check all" feature and it basically ate everything. Urgh.

I hear ya there. I haven't really posted much on there for awhile - use it mostly for the stash for the moment to hold on to images. Someone tagged me with a year subscription so I feel inclined to keep it up until then.
I am wary of putting to much up there. As much as I like to share my work, it seems after the past few years DA has become a horrible manifestation of bad with the influx of childer and creeper fan children. I'll still keep watch of my favorite professionals on there but I think for the time being FA, Tumblr, and here seems the safest bet. However, i'll probably post a few things up there from time to time. That is like the only site I really have to watch it and HAVE to post watermarks ruining my images in the process. I hate watermarks on my stuff. :I

Oh yeah, definitely. I still love posting my work there, but sometimes I just couldn't be bothered to do much else on there. I still go through my devwatch because I love so much of the work on there that is done by actual good people and such. But argh... it just seems like such a waste sometimes. I remember when it used to be such a loving site. >:

She got another one as she has the same laptop actually, lol. I'm going to get my own when I get back as the shipping from here is ridiculous despite the fact we are RIGHT over the US. Most of the places you can get the stylus are in the USA. She was lucky to get the one in Canada when I found it on Ebay.
And oh yes. I got one more then some other little ones. I am probably going to open up for bigger ones again...but I really want to get some of my own artwork down first honestly. I hope you are doing good!?

Pff I've worked for a grocery company(H.E.B. found only in Texas/Mexico~) for about 4 years and I gotta say I would much rather be keeping my body and mind busy rather then sitting at a desk getting fat!
Maybe you're just in an artistic slump, which I myself have seemed to have found myself in... :c
