Hello! It's the obligatory "It's been a while since I posted here but I'm posting here now haha!" journal.

As a bit of pre-topic banter, boy I just cleared out a bunch of people on my watch list. Weasyl is a pretty active place, but since most of what I followed were people migrating from FurAffinity, a looot of my watch list consisted of people who either deleted everything on their Weasyl gallery or happened to stop posting here shortly after the last FurAffinity drama migration subsided. It's okay, I was in that one so I can't judge.

So why am I here now?

One of the difficulties is being on multiple sites is going through the trouble of reposting content, sure, but I have my own dumb mental gymnastics I go through. In particular, joining a new site results in this desire to get everyone "caught up" on what I do, reintroduce characters and whatnot. Since I make a lot of characters, it's a lot to do, so I usually don't finish.

While it's not quite a fix for that, something I decided to do is just make Weasyl a place where I post OCs, no Pokemon. That cuts out a significant chunk of what I draw, but I've been drawing more OC stuff lately. Expect a bunch of not-too-old art to pop up in due time.
