Some celebrate on glorious May 1st, others on bacchanal May 5th - and a few see this blessed holiday as encompassing the entire first week of May.

Today is one of my favorite holy days - Floralia/Beltane. The Goddess has achieved victory over Death, the Holly King is gone and the Oak King enters the stage as her beloved Consort.

It's a holiday about all the good stuff. Love, sex, life, compassion, believing in yourself, and take pleasure in those who enrich your life.

So, it's a good time to do things to make other people in your life happy. Celebrating their life and your own. Do something kind for someone today

In preparation for this holiday I'd been working on prompts given to me by all kinds of folks. I wish I'd been able to do more of them to REALLY make it festive but I'm glad to share what I DO have with all of you. Look for them.

On that subject I also have a tumblr where I'll be posting any prompts I get from now on. This Tumblr will ONLY feature artwork made by me. So no reblogs from all over the confines of Creation, lol (unlike my regular tumblr blog).
