So if you didn't know, there's a website called https://mynoise.net
It's an ambient noise generator, and he's gone out and sourced all the noise himself. Want to hear a ship in the bay? bingo. birdsong in the forest? shazam. tibetian monks chanting in a cave? wha-pow. It's all there, and can even be mixed. I listen to this site very frequently while writing, and will frequently keep it on loop. I like people to be able to both hear and see my stories in their head. I'd like to make these settings available to you.
I also would like to keep his site running, and give credit where credit is due. So, head over there and listen. If you'd like to hear what I'm hearing as I write each story, i'll be keeping a journal log with all the different stories 'audio settings'. There is a small catch though.
I'm using what's called a super generator, or stack. To use stacks correctly and without them pausing, you'll need to donate to his site so you're a supporter. Don't freak though, as little as $1 gets you lifetime access with your email, iirc. Now, you CAN use the site just as a free user. But if you want to stack multiple "types" of sound, you'll need to use a stack. If you visit the site, it'll be a lot more clear. I love the place.
So. Got a dollar? Wanna hear some pawsome sounds to go along with your reading? Then have I got the link for you. . .
