Furry Migration 2018 Recap by RentonTBuck

I had an absolutely wonderful time at a local convention called Furry Migration today.

The day started off with me arriving at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis at 10 AM to register and get my con badge. I had made arrangements in advance with my deer friend Buck-Aye to let me borrow his hotel room and store my belongings in there while I enjoyed the con.

I then wandered around the con to see what was new in the Artist's Alley and the Dealer's Den, and I happened to find a print of a baby fawn curled up in a ball drawn by an artist named Rikkoshaye; I couldn't resist how adorable it looked and purchased a copy to take home. I also managed to come across Fox Amoore, and I got to have a picture taken with him after he had just finished a panel. After grabbing a bite to eat from The Market in the lobby, I went back up to the hotel room to get into my deer fursuit in time for the fursuit parade.

After the parade itself and participating in the huge group photo, I went back up to the room to clean my fursuit and then put on my Nick Wilde cosplay to walk around in and show off to some attendees, as well as stopping by to hear Fox Amoore and Pepper Coyote give a concert (I recall getting a picture taken of me in my cosplay from someone I know who goes by ThePoetryNinja on YouTube, who was dressed as Willy Wonka, believe it or not). Then I returned to the room to change back into my regular clothes so that I could put my belongings in the car and return for a quick photo session. Finally, after having a talk with a couple friends, it was time to go home.

I'm just glad I got to do everything I wanted at this year's Furry Migration. I can't wait to see what next year's con has in store. :)
