I swear my journal must look like I'm making shit up sometimes. Nobody is THAT unlucky.

So... Coming back from my part-time gig this morning and fancied a coffee, so headed into town. Stopped at the roundabout and was about to pull off when BAM - someone went into the back of my car.

Bollocks.

Minor dent in back of mine and the boot isn't closing very easily but otherwise no damage (scuffs on her car). Lucky I wasn't in the tow car as I would have punched a hole in the front with the tow ball!

At the end of the day, accidents happen, but I'm feeling worse for wear and have been sick, dizzy, sore and nauseous for most of the day. Unfortunately, my car is old (and I'm not a twat), so likely won't be claiming on their insurance for the damage (as my car will just be a write off, considering its low value) but hoping they will either settle to have the boot fixed outside insurance, unless I can sort it myself. If it's just the catch, that's an easy fix for me.

But yeah... Really didn't need that today. Or this year. Or at all. Hoping the whiplash, for it's sure that I've bloody well got it again now (got rear-ended last year's April too!) isn't as vicious this time but I suppose I know what to do. Doctor tomorrow, of course, just wasn't worth an emergency appointment today. Just worth a quick check and recording it all down.

Still worked the grey mare today though but I made sure I kept to working from the ground only as last time I rode after a car accident I don't think I did myself much good at all. It was a lovely lesson and I really needed the boost after the horrendous rest of the day.

Fingers crossed for an easy resolution, if needed.
