I keep forgetting to submit more stuff here, I genuinely really, really, really like the layout and submission and stuff ^^;. I'm too used to Tumblr and dA, I guess! I should make coming onto here part of my routine ((and looking for artists on here because jeez interaction is cool and i kinda miss having art friends on art sites lmaoo)).

Basically, I go by the name "Squall" online and it's because of the Final Fantasy 8 character ^^;. It's my fave in the franchise, at least out of the ones I played, because of nostalgia reasons. I really relate to the character as well but I think my favorite in the game is actually Selphie!

I'm living in the Canadian prairies and will probably never move anywhere else... Because effort, y'know? Guh. I think I'm way more of a city (or at least, larger town) person than a country/rural/small town person? Though, gonna be real, I day dream about living in one of the towns we drive through to get to my hometown or Winnipeg :'). I love going to the mall (even if it's just to loiter in the food court, I wish malls were more of a thing like in 80s/90s media haha) or the movies, if you suggest going to the movies, I'll prolly say yes even if there's nothing I super wanna see. I like the experience so much that I often see the same movie dozens of times hahha.

I kinda grew up watching movies, thanks to my granny having so many VHS tapes. My favorites as a kid (and stuff I can't hate...) are Jurassic Park, Twister (whyyyy), Batman and Robin and disney princess stuff pffft. I have a letterboxd account and I've seen closer to a 1000 movies that I remember and that's honestly fucking wild (AND THERE'S PEOPLE THAT WATCHED WAAAY MORE I NEED TO GET ON THEIR LEVEL). I think it's because I watched a lot of 90s and late 80s stuff back then that I'm so attached to the 80s/90s aesthetic and teen movies from that era? I dunno.

Fandom wise, I'm kind of all over the place. My favorites that'll probably stay that way are... Power Rangers (MMPR-Turbo, Time Force-Ninja Storm, Ninja Steel) ,Jurassic Park, JJBA: Diamond is Unbreakable, Persona 3 and 4, Rumble Roses, YugiOh and YuGiOh GX. I also really like Kevin Smith's movies/View Askewniverse, Lupin III, Wes Anderson's movies, Spiderman/Deadpool/Guardians of the Galaxy, Until Dawn... There's a lot, hahha.

I work in MS Paint a lot but I'd love to try to get back into like...more complicated, I guess, digital art ^^;. I think I got scared of all the layers and stuff so I just... started doing this really time consuming thing ahhhhh. I also just kinda feel nostalgic for it, yknow?
