Yeah...this week has been stupid already lol. I sooooo need a break! Just trying to resist taking a day off so I can save my PTO for later in the year and take a FEW days off instead of just one here and there.

Anyway, trying to get my thoughts organized for this weekend.

I'll definitely be working on color for a few pieces this weekend, but I also need to start looking over my commission information, and just preparing for commissions, later perhaps next month maybe June, in general.

As far as commissions are concerned I still need to take care of a few things before I can open again.

■ I'd like to get most or all of my current in progress art completed and out of the way.

■ I need to make sure my commission information is good to go. This is going to include updates and changes, so past commissioners be mindful of that before you seek to commission me again. Nothing scary, just as with any change it's good to know what's up.

■ Another heads up to past commissioners, I've got to work out my prices, and they'll probably increase compared to what they were previously. I'll be working out how much time it takes me to complete each stage in my art process (sketch, graphite, ink, color pencil, & marker) and then I'll have to figure out an hourly rate and price from there.

■ I'm going to make myself some commission submissions. Basically a visual to use with journals, something along the lines of "Commissions Coming Soon", "Commissions OPEN" and "Commissions CLOSED".

After that it'll simply be a matter deciding when I'd like to open and preparing for it.

Again, I probably won't be looking/preparing to open for commissions again until late May, or June. So don't feel like you need to be ready right now, or even here real soon, if you're interested in commissioning me.

That's that! I'm off to bed now. Got two truck through two more days of work before I can enjoy another brief weekend lol.

P.S. - I'll probably be attending a sort of fellowship get together with some of my co-workers on Saturday evening from probably 7pm-10pm/11pm CST. So in all likelihood I won't be around Saturday evening.
