Just keep calm, and ask if you can hold the nurse, usually hugging a nurse will often take away that fear and you can put your face in her shoulder. I know it will hurt afterwards, but as a victim of an unfortunate amount of shots in my childhood, shots don’t hurt! They will often let you hold their hand, but request for a nurse to hug. It will really help I promise!
