Hey guys! I'm gonna be off work for a few days since I just got new glasses. I developed nearsightedness in the time since I last got new glasses, so my brain is now used to determining distance based on how blurry things are. That means that, with my new glasses putting everything into equal clarity, my brain is now going 'WHAT IS DEPTH PERCEPTION 9_6' and everything looks wacky and skewed. That in turn means that I'm not comfortable sketching right now as I wouldn't be able to tell what was going on with the proportions. Everything on my docket right now requires sketching so I'm just taking a few days off. I also won't be streaming tomorrow. I'm going to try to do a stream in a few days instead once my eyes and brain have adjusted to my new glasses. In the meantime I will go on being amazed that I can make out details on objects across the room!
