Seriously, people. This is bad. Do NOT trust Twitter (the company and platform) right now.

On top of the recent "shadowbans" where people can't see what you post, and the fact that people were being placed in this state for saying "thank you"(seriously?)... Now we have this:

Twitter is shadowbanning people who interact with anyone who's been shadowbanned, and in some cases, they're forcing everyone to unfollow some accounts. It's social manipulation at it's most dangerous, either by taking away their ability to post while making them think it's going out, or by trying to remove existing connections outright.

Twitter is not a safe platform at the moment. It's almost as bad as Facebook, and I'd call it "Skype-grade betrayal" for those who know what I'm talking about. While Facebook became evil for data mining, Twitter is now becoming almost totalitarian in controlling how their users are able to interact with each other. Artists of all kinds are at a potentially devastating risk of becoming drown out.

If you use Twitter, make very sure people have other ways of contacting you and keeping up with your updates. I know it can be a pain, but it's honestly better than being silenced and censored completely because of a single company that's no longer trustworthy. Protect yourselves.
