I give up, I can't sing in German for shit. I try to sing but I read the lyrics and it doesn't sound like the song.. You just skip like half of most words and change the rest, it doesn't make any sense in my head. If I knew what the words meant it'd be much, much easier but trying to sing these songs right now feels like having to memorize a wall of medical terms by heart for an exam no-one cares about, It's just not fun. I mean sure I could spend hours on that one song and eventually get it to sound right but I wouldn't have put my feelings into it 'cause what the Hell am I singing anyway. Kinda like trying to draw someone else's abstract art, I guess; you may sketch it perfectly but it'll still feel like a cheap copy.

I wanted to learn German in college but the class was full and now I just can't do this. Ugh this annoys me to the extreme. I'll just... take a day off and do another album tomorrow. Voltaire's last album even, after that I'll have to decide what the Hell I'll sing next. Queen? Rush? Def Leppard? Or go on a French/Quebecois streak for a while?
