You might be thinking well if they're getting evicted get a job. They lost their job a little just before Christmas for being lage, poor performence, and being very clumsy around customers and even falling asleep at lunch. Why were they doing that? Because their 80 year father passed away and they were taking care of him. They were getting so exhausted because he had Alzheimer's disease and they were having to go over to their parents house every morning before and after work. For those who do not know Alzheimer's slowly kills the mind. It starts off with word loss, not remembering certain dates, or even favorite foods. It slowly becomes worse to where a person may even be forced into a nursing home.
Anyways they were called in by the if boss asking if everything was okay, ect. They told their boss, and he told them that if they were late again there would be no choice but to fire them. I personally thought was very harsh but can understand. So they quit after a lot of tears and emotional support from coworkers. (They worked as a cleaner at a hosptal .) They didn't have the money to quit because they were right in the middle of paying the house fujds , and most likely forgot in emotional distress. I've been doing what I can for the past half month but the bill is expected by the 31st of January. They talked to the bank who basically owns the house until they pay, and was able to get a few weeks more by God's grace. They came to me the day they quit, calling me in tears saying they needed help but wouldn't say what kind. Naturally in this situation i thought it was medical so I asked if they had any pains, they told me they had lost their job to a foolish decision and needed financial support. They've already gone to family and friends and tried to apply for another job, but in these days it's nearly immpossible. The rate of finding a job is filling an application, waiting, (usually two to three business weeks if not more), called in for an interview, then if not selected try again, but if selected usually person is not paid until after two weeks of starting there. They really hate depending on people for help and were raised to try to figure problems out by themselves, but as you can tell this is an emergency problem, and hopefully you can help them out.
