I’m going to open commission slots tomorrow around 8PM EST
I’m not sure how many slots I’ll open, I’ll just leave it open ended
Serious inquiries only, please! I’ve had quite a few people recently emailing me, setting everything up, and then either never paying me or ghosting when I ask for payment so please only email me if you seriously want a commission

I’m also going to ask that commissioners pay within 72 hours after I give a quote. Otherwise, you may end up losing your slot.
I’ve also had a lot of people just…not pay after getting a slot. Then expecting it to still be there 2 weeks later after I’ve reminded them to send payment. I only open commission slots to pay the mortgage, so I’m on a deadline to get slots locked. It’s really disheartening thinking I have something set up and turning people away only to have that person to get a slot never actually pay for it…plus that leaves me short and scrambling to cover the mortgage.

I’m currently looking for a job
Unfortunately, being an artist full-time just doesn’t work for me and my financial situation. I’ve fallen so far behind, and I hate opening more slots knowing how long I have to keep you all waiting, but it’s the only thing I’ve been able to do to get money for bills/mortgage until recently
So once I get a job, I’ll be done taking commissions
I’m not sure for how long they’ll be closed, but definitely until my commission queue is completely cleared. After that it’ll probably be spontaneous openings or YCH auctions. I’ll work on commissions after work/on my days off, and of course I’ll still be working on them full-time until I find something
I’m not sure when I’ll hear back from places, but I’ll make an official announcement when that time comes
Until then, they’ll still open around the 20th of the month

I just wanted to let you all know what was going on so the announcement wouldn’t be completely out of left field
