First Journal by Sertimus

Hello all! First and foremost, thank you all for following my new account. I'm glad to see those of you that are still willing to stick around for my art, and for that I'm grateful. :> If you're new to my art, hey, welcome and enjoy!

As of Sunday (January 15th), my old gallery (gameaddict30 gameaddict30) will no longer be updated, with the exception that I may send out quarterly reminders on that account stating that I have moved here.

That aside, how to start this first journal entry... Ah yes, life. I managed to perservere last semester, despite the circumstances that unfolded with one of my classes. It ended on a fairly good note with lots of bees- um, I mean Bs. It was not perfect, but it turned out better than I thought it would.

Now it is another year and another three semesters, but this time it's starting to become more manageable. Granted I have a lot of math and algorithms to learn this semester, but I noticed that having two classes seems to be easier on me than what was of last semester, which I constantly worried about my own schoolwork rather than taking a breather, especially after putting hours and hours into library study time.

So now I have a bit more time to spend with my hobbies, including art! However, there's the part where I try to get back into it, and I may need a bit of help from you guys. That is why I am going to open up for a variety of things.

One of these things is going to be requests. However, I will only be open for them when it is explicitly stated in a separate journal. Also, I will not be able to do every single request and I can refuse to do requests at any time. I may also be slow with them, depending on how busy I am with other things.

Another one is art trades. These will also be announced through separate journal entries. They will come in limited slots and may or may not be first-come-first-serve. This is so I can manage my workload more effectively.

I would like to mention about commissions too, though I'm not quite ready to roll with them yet, especially with the lack of a portfolio. I've been a little reluctant with them anyhow, so maybe at a later point in time I will consider it. That aside, these would take priority over art trades and requests, since I'm getting paid to draw.

That's all I have to say for this journal. I may have another journal coming up much later since it's late at night, but stay tuned. Either way, have a g'night!
