Christmas Weekend recap by RentonTBuck

My Christmas weekend went pretty well. Saturday started off with me performing at a Christmas Eve service and then coming home to go eat out at the Cheesecake Factory for dinner with a few of my relatives. It was the first time I ordered a cheesecake for dessert at that restaurant, and I'm glad I did, for I ordered the Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake, and it was absolutely delicious.

Sunday was the big day. After performing in a Christmas Day worship service, I returned home to visit with more relatives who arrived at around 10 AM. 1 PM was the time we all had our big lunch, with meals of all kinds served buffet style. Afterward, we played an exciting game of Pictionary, and my team actually came very close to winning. Then we opened our presents, and here's what I got:

-"The Lost Notebook: Herman Schultheis and the Secrets of Walt Disney's Movie Magic" by John Canemaker
-"The Animals of Farthing Wood" by Colin Dann
-Heavy Metal Sly Fox puzzle
-The Ed Wood Box (a collection of DVDs featuring some of Ed Wood's best known films from the 1950's, including "Plan 9 from Outer Space")
-A Marauder Map scarf
-"LEGO Marvel's Avengers" for the Wii-U
-2 Mike & Ike's candy boxes
-"South Park" season 16 on DVD
-$40 Amazon gift card
-United Nations pencil and bookmark

After a wild card game of Golf, I proposed that we watch the Rifftrax version of "Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny" on DVD, and we did. A few of the relatives got quite a good laugh out of the hilarious audio commentary that riffed on the awful film from the early 1970's. Then the relatives departed for the night.

Hope everyone else had a good weekend. :)
