OK, there's been a bit of a holiday miracle!

My wife's mother was able to help us get six days of medication for my wife as a birthday gift. She has medication through Christmas!

And, I found our food stamp card. There's only about $10 left on it for the month, but at least I FOUND it, and I don't have to go sitting in the county offices for hours and hours, away from my wife, while they make me a new one.

Now the bad news:

I have $4 to my name, and my wife is entering her time of the month. I need $12 to get a package of pads for her (she has a heavy flow and the only thing that works are Depends underwear, which are kind of expensive). And if I don't get $20 into my Chase account (the account attached to GoFundMe) before the 21st, I'm going to end up being -$19 overdrawn. I'd like to head that off so the overdraft doesn't happen, if possible.

The cat needs litter - badly. This is $8, at the minimum, to get the kind he isn't allergic to. He's also out of canned food, but he has enough dry for another couple of weeks.

If anyone was considering tossing me some cash for the Holidays, this is when I need it. Any amount is appreciated. Considering that we don't have to buy my wife medication for almost a week, these amounts seem seriously trivial. I literally need a TOTAL of $40, to fix absolutely everything (you know, aside from the 7 month overdue credit card bills we've given up on, and the nearly 2 month overdue car payment...I don't think that miracle is going to happen this year...).

Anything beyond that $40 is going to go to gap-filler food to get us to when our Food Stamp card refills next month, and, obviously, to my wife's medication once these six days are over.
